Cottage Tour

Hector is our luxury self catering holiday cottage, located behind Brewers Quay in Weymouth. It provides well appointed accommodation with two bedrooms, the master bedroom being complete with en-suite shower room. On the ground floor the hall leads to the fully equipped kitchen, with fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. This leads on to a large lounge/dining room.

The Court Yard

You drive into the Mews through the coded security gates, the code will be given to you when you book your stay. The first house is Hector with its little border frontage.

The Mews Court Yard

There is a designated parking space for Hector in the covered parking area. The courtyard is fairly safe for children, as the only cars entering through the coded security gates will be the other people at Shire Horse Mews. You park in the covered designated parking space for Hector, and there are two other marked parking spaces for Shire Horse visitors in the car park opposite Brewer’s Quay. Any washing can be hung at the far end of the mews to the left of the blue gates, and you will find clothes pegs in the understairs cupboard in the entrance hall.

Please note – The far wooden gates are not for access. Entry and exit for pedestrians and cars is through the electronic gates only.

Entrance Hallway

Enter the hall, with a fitted coat hanging recess to your right, and pass the downstairs cloakroom, complete with toilet and wash hand basin. Under the stairs is a small cupboard containing a vacuum cleaner. Walking straight on you enter the Kitchen.
